A FRENCH supermarket was inundated with complaints yesterday after it emerged traces of beef had been found in its horseburgers. Staff at the supermarket, part of the Sacrebleu chain, were forced to clear the shelves and issue an urgent warning to customers who had already bought the tainted burgers not to eat them. Supermarket manager Jacques Shitte told The Splurt: “I ‘ave no idea how zis could ‘ave ‘appened. Mon job is on ze line. “We apologise to our customers but insist zat all ze offending burgers have been removed and the only ones for sale now are ze disgusting shite ones we sell normally.” He added: “To think ze English actually eat beef in their burgers. Ha!” (He spits on the floor).
